They say that women are taught to give and give and give, all the while never expecting anything in return. That must change. It’s unfair to myself and my family – my husband, children, parents, friends – that I put myself on the back burner while everyone else is the priority.
My journey with my Sea & Moss company is all about changing your lifestyle habits to become more health conscious. Making yourself a priority is one of the best things you can do for yourself and it will have an effect on every other area of your life.
“Maybe you don’t know where to start or what the first step is, all you know is, you want to change something in your life.”
Maybe you don’t know where to start or what the first step is, all you know is you want to change something in your life. You want to improve your health, gain more energy, lose weight, feel better about yourself or have more time for yourself, but these areas are not priorities for you right now.
I have always been an active person, but I wasn’t always as fit as I am today. I kept telling myself that one day I would take care of my health and my body, but it was just a dream or something for “someday.”

I’m a firm believer that health is the key to living a happy and fulfilling life. It doesn’t matter how much money you have or how many other things you have going for you – none of that matters if your heart is not in your health.
So why are we putting this off? We’re doing it because we’re just not sure what to do. We don’t know what lifestyle habits will improve our overall health, or even what particular choices will work for us as individuals. That is why I created my Sea Moss business. It’s not just about selling sea moss and making money, it’s about changing lives. My life has been changed by the consumption of sea moss and I want to share that with you.
My quest for good health grew stronger when I was experiencing minor complications during my pregnancy. It led me to connect to my nutrition, mind, and body. Since my health was becoming an issue in my life, I was determined to solve it in the most sustainable way possible, through nutrition. This led me to rediscover sea moss and this time as something I would take and not something I grew up knowing about from my Guyanese heritage.
By all means, I’m not saying you have to be a health nut to live a happy and balanced life. You can still drink wine or have a nice refreshing glass of beer in the afternoon occasionally. It’s okay, no guilt.
All I want to do is encourage, inspire and share with you the benefits of including sea moss in your daily meal plan. Along with aligning you to a well-balanced lifestyles to enhance your foundation with an abundance of good health.
